Gameplay

I could not buy a hit in this game. Pitching and fielding are middling but ok, but hitting is nigh impossible.

Level Design

Season and exhibition modes. Easy enough to jump into a game.

Theme

English is used on enough menus that it's not a problem. Has a sort of stuffy environment. Japan League license, of course.

Art Style

Eh, the graphics are weak. Not terrible, but decent for 1989. Still below average though.

Audio

Loud music plays continuously, and changes based on the situation. It gets fast paced (and annoying) when a runner is in scoring position. Sounds are fine but that music isn't my favorite.

After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
