Gameplay

I could see this being my primary baseball game. The controls are nothing special but also work just as you'd expect for a baseball game of this era.

Practice, season, exhibition, and vs modes. Easy enough to jump into a game.

Theme

English is used on enough menus that it's not a problem. Has a sort of stuffy environment. Japan League license, of course.

Eh, the graphics are weak. Not terrible, but nothing to write home about.

Audio

Loud music plays continuously, and changes based on the situation. It gets fast paced (and annoying) when a runner is in scoring position. Sounds are fine but that music isn't my favorite.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
