Gameplay

It plays like Dragon's Lair, but refined. On Easy you get a clear indicator, just enough time to react, and forgiving timing. In fact, you can mash all you'd like. WolfTeam made the best of these QTE FMV games.

Level Design

Good variety of moves and sequences. It's the same every time, but what did you expect? Levels vary in length from 4-20 button presses and give you a chance to catch your breath between them.

Theme

You're a ninja assaulting an evil warlord's castle while battling supernatural henchmen. Good stuff.

Art Style

Nice artwork but the same awful video quality. The viewport is only about 60% of the screen.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
