Gameplay

This is a carbon copy of the TG-16 original version, but with the addition of a new mode called "Before Christ". The BC version plays much the same, with only minor differences such as the powerups and slower game speed. Still a great game.

Level Design

The BC mode has similar levels to the main one, although I found them to be a tad less interesting. Still, more of the same is a good thing here.

Theme

There's an opening cinematic and between-level artwork. Nice stuff. Plus, mechs!

Art Style

Again, lovely stuff. Nothing that will knock your socks off, but all the artwork is interesting. Nice sprites and great use of color.

The BC mode is a slight downgrade but looks like a suped-up NES game.

No improvmenet over the HuCard version. Same old

After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
