Gameplay

Pure button masher.
Camera swings around wildly.
Objective is to get opponent's health bar to zero and then pin them which will guarantee a victory.
Only two attacks - punch and kick. C to hold and then mash A and/or B to either throw to the ground or into the ropes.
Decent movement in the slightly askew camera.
Ok hit detection...for a wrestling game.

Level Design

What level design? This is an arcade game through and through. One fight after the next.

Theme

Arcade feel. Quick intros and end of fight text. Not much to look at but I love the lack of pomp. Just jump in and fight.

Art Style

Huge sprites. Not much animation but I love the big beefy designs.
Unfrotuatnely the right 1/3rd of the screen is used for an enormous HUD, making the playing area quite small.

Solid, impactful sound effects. Ok music

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
