Gameplay

Feels like so many other soccer titles. You can only control one player at a time, unlike a game like Capcom's Soccer Shootout where you steer multiple players without having to select a specific one. This makes defense nearly impossible here, since the very act of switching to a defender causes that guy to full stop, taking him out of the play. Plus the refs are quick to give you a yellow or red card.
I was able to score once, but not before being scored on numerous times. I also feel like the direction in passing and shooting don't work. The ball goes wherever the game wants it to go. Lastly, the controls are needlessly confusing. A shoots, B passes, X lofts, and Y does something, but when the ball is in the air it's Y that makes you jump to perform a header or bicycle kick to shoot. Why isn't it A? It makes no sense.

All the modes, including a player creator called "You're a Hero".

Generic international soccer, but with only 14 teams. Naturally, only European countries.

Art Style

Bg sprites that animate well, which cmoes at the cost of gameplay.

Audio

Ok menu music and good in-game sounds that don't annoy.
